About the game
Hanul Kart is a 3D arcade kart racer set in Korean scenery. Eight cute racers, including Ttuki the dokkaebi, Haerang the baby haetae, Suni the haenyeo diver and Doyun the gat-wearing scholar, each drive their own kart across six tracks: hanok village alleys, the Jeju coastal road, the snowy roads of Seorak, a city overpass at night, a folk village market and a night forest aglow with floating dokkaebi fire. Drifting is the key. The more you slide through corners, the more your boost gauge fills, and unleashing it sends you rocketing ahead in a burst of flames. Master the instant boost, pressing the accelerator again right on "Now!" as a drift ends, plus the start boost timed to the starting signal, and watch your times drop. In item races, five-color obangsaek boxes hold 10 items, including the dokkaebi club, taegeuk whirlwind, taffy trap, ink fog and thunder drum. The further behind you are, the more likely you'll get comeback items, so rankings can flip right up to the final lap. Modes include Speed Race, Item Race, Time Attack against your best-lap ghost and a 4-race Grand Prix, with three levels of opponent skill.
How to play
Keyboard: ←→ steer, ↑ accelerate, ↓ brake, Shift/Space drift, Ctrl/X boost, Z/C item, R reset, Esc pause. Touch: auto-accelerate, ◀▶ on the left to steer, Drift, Boost and Item buttons on the right. Turn on Easy Controls for steering and drift assist. Gamepads are supported too.
