About the game
You are the new king of Nuri, a fictional Joseon-style kingdom. Twenty characters, among them the Chief State Councillor, the Grand General, the merchant guild master, the farmers' spokesman, the shaman, the queen, the envoy from Parang and the secret royal inspector, each come to you with their requests. Swipe a card right to approve, left to refuse. If any of the four meters (the people, treasury, military or court) runs dry or overflows, your reign is over. Being too beloved, or having overflowing coffers, spells trouble too. Tilt a card to see dots previewing which meters will change and by how much. Events like droughts and rain rituals, treaties with Parang's envoy, the crown prince growing up, surprise visits from the secret inspector and moving the capital by feng shui unfold over many years. Every so often, a dokkaebi or a white tiger drops by. When your reign ends, the crown prince takes the throne and history goes on. Your score is the number of years you reigned. Try to earn all 14 achievements and fill all 8 slots in the ending collection.
How to play
Drag cards left or right (right to approve, left to refuse). Keyboard: press an arrow key (or A/D) once to preview, twice to decide. Enter or Space also decides. You can also choose with the two buttons below.
